Arrival & Welcome

The experience begins early in the morning, before sunrise, to ensure optimal conditions for a hot air balloon flight. You will be picked up from your hotel or a designated meeting point and taken to the launch site, typically located a few kilometers outside Marrakech, near the Palmeraie or the Agafay Desert.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a team of professional and experienced pilots who will explain the flight procedure and safety measures. You'll have the opportunity to watch the balloon being set up and marvel at its size and vibrant colors.

The Flight

Once the hot air balloon is ready, you'll board the basket and begin your ascent. The flight typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the weather conditions and the chosen route. The take-off is smooth, and soon you’ll be immersed in a breathtaking panoramic view.

Sunrise Experience

One of the most magical moments of the flight is undoubtedly the sunrise. The sky transforms into shades of orange and pink, casting a warm light over the landscapes below. This sunrise experience makes the adventure even more unforgettable, providing a perfect opportunity for stunning photos of the city, mountains, and desert bathed in soft morning light.

The Landing

The landing is gentle, usually in an open area or a field in the surrounding countryside. Once back on the ground, you’ll be greeted with a glass of champagne or fresh fruit juice to celebrate the adventure. Some operators also offer a flight certificate as a keepsake of this experience.

Return to Marrakech

After the flight, transportation will return you to Marrakech, usually to your hotel, where you can share your memories and photos from this unique adventure.
